Mural made in Alexanderplatz, Berlin, as part of the project A-Fence. 7 selected artists had a 12-meter long wall to develop their own take on the concept oh ‘metamorphosis’.
The painting was completed in high sessions of 3 hours each. It is usually more than I usually take, because of the choice of using brushes instead of only spray paint - in order to be loyal to the preparation sketches.
It was a nice process, and I had some nice conversations and a lot of encouragement from the passerbys :)

Curitiba, Brazil, 2023
I painted the front wall of my long-time friend Branco's house, who generously gave me ‘carte blanche’. Inspired by his recently published text, 'Time Flies,' recounting a cherished childhood memory of a time when his family received daily visits from two little birds, feeding them with grains and water from an eye-dropper.
I interpreted this scene, getting some clues from the sweet family photos he used to illustrate his text. This wall is in front of the house of the family, where my friends’ parents lived since the sixties. I tried to capture the beauty of this human/bird friendship, and his close relationship with Dona Inês, his mother, making a mural that serve as a happy memorial for his late mother and family.
Sardinia, 2023
A private commission for a painting on a beautiful house at the coast of Sardinia, Italy. Inspired by the landscape of the island, I tried to mimetic the forms of the granite stone wall, adding some colour, sun, and different surface reflections.
